Ellen Degeneres and John McCain on Gay Marriage
For those of you who haven't seen this yet! What was McCain thinking going on this show? He can't even look her in the eyes too much...
hmmm... give John McCain "credit".... i gotta meditate on that one! its almost as challenging as being able to see Bush as someone i should send vibes of love as a fellow human being. Not quite that challenging tho. :)
i will say that he did a better job than Jamaica's Prime Minister Bruce Golding on the subject tho! I have a feeling McCain had a teeny bit more preparation... heh
Yeah, it was pretty sad. What's worse, in my opinion, is that he rambles on saying that he thinks a "civil contract" would be great and basically goes on to list all the same perks married people have, which in essence this "contract" would be a "marriage" but he's just afraid to say so.
I guess you gotta at least give him credit for going on the show and "discussing" the issue...
